This real marriage is one of those that takes an original idea and runs with it. The execution of the wedding is so intricate that it blows our minds.

Marga and Bikash, a couple of incredibly thoughtful people, got married at the beautiful Syon Park located in London.

The couple wanted to create a memorable day for their guests. They enlisted the help of Sarah Gawler, who took care of photography, and Knot and Pop for design and planning.

Knot & Pop began with the couple’s favorite color, Blue, and drew inspiration from the grand backdrop. They created a China blue aesthetic, which flowed through the entire day with touches of pink, white, and mossy green.

Every detail was tailored to the couple, from hand-painted tiles to biscuits and stationery to an amazing watercolor cake.

The Planner

The ceremony style mixed statement floral urns and bespoke paper fans for the Order of Service. There was also a unique Sand Ceremony, as well as edible flowers on the canapes.

With the Bubble Bar and face-painting artist who created floral and botanical designs with her artistic skills, the couple wanted to make the most of their wedding day.

The Dress

The bride chose the Peter Langnerdress because it was a classic silhouette with delicate lace.

A sash embellished with beads was worn along with the dress.

The Venue

The couple fell in love the moment they visited the venue, and no other medium could compare.

The ceremony took place in a grand manor where they were able to enjoy the beauty of the grounds, the Great Conservatory, which houses exotic plants under beautiful glasshouses.

The Inspiration

Considering the bride and groom’s love for Blue, it was a perfect match of the many shades of blue combined with the botanical world that worked so well in the grounds of Syon Park.

We were inspired by sun prints and used flower silhouettes to create an organic scene.

Our inspiration came from a mix of textures and materials to create a memorable experience for the couple.

The Guests

The couple was always thinking of their family and friends while keeping the children entertained. We even organized a floral crown-making class with Bo Boutique for the kids.

Cushions, Favors & Escort Cards

Knot & Pop made over 200 hand-painted tiles for the most beautiful painted cookies.

Lamplighter London placed the Escort Cards on a bed with foliage inked in a beautiful blue and decorated it with modern calligraphy flourishes.

The lounge areas are now a focal point of the home, with their luxurious sofas and wrought iron furniture. Custom-made cushions in floral prints complete the look.

Reception

The Great Conservatory had the most lavish setting with custom-dyed napkins, heart-shaped ceramics, and foliage table numbers. There was also a mixture of blue and glass bottles filled with flowers.

The children were also given goody bags with lots of garden and botanical-themed goodies in them – ladybird finger puppets, butterfly hand puppets, flower stickers…

Fun Touches

The couple wanted to have fun, so they made a photo-booth backdrop, which was covered with blue floral wallpapers and a prop box that contained lots of fun accessories.

The guests enjoyed Marryoke as they sang snippets from Pharrell’s Happy. This was then edited into a video so that the couple could remember their fun day.

To create more memories for the couples, instead of a traditional guest book, guests were asked to write on wooden colored leaves that were then placed in a frame and displayed as a beautiful keepsake at the couple’s house.

From the Bride

The morning was filled with nerves, from getting ready and being nervous to the beautiful ceremony, where we saw all our family and friends for the first.

After the ceremony, it was wonderful to spend some time together, just us two, to take in everything.

It was great to see everyone smiling, both individually and collectively, from the beginning of the event until the end on the dance floor.

We were thrilled to receive the photos and relived the beauty of that day.

There are so many details to admire, right? The blue bottle centerpieces and the cake are stunning.
